We are looking for an Eligibility Specialist to join our Team!

Position Description:

The Eligibility Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the medical billing within the agency.  This includes, but is not limited to: speaking with insurance companies, prior authorization, daily entry of data and insurances eligibilities. Additional responsibilities will include:

1. Checking eligibilities on all patients
2. Entering new patient information/insurance properly
3. Communication with patients regarding billing
4. Obtaining authorizations
5. Update and maintain patient insurances in the current software
6. Navigate insurance websites/maintain user status
7. Running weekly reports as directed by supervisor
8. Sending out weekly records required by insurance for claims reimbursement
9. Responding to emails and performing tasks requested within the context in a timely manner

Education, Experience, Skills, Training:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

The successful applicant must have at least one (1) year experience working in a medical office setting with insurance eligibility understanding. Must possess strong communication and computer skills.
