Responsibilities:
1. Schedule and coordinate daily activities for 10 or more technicians, including service appointments, meetings, restock appointments, etc.
2. Utilize in-depth knowledge of South Mississippi's geography and spatial awareness to efficiently schedule appointments based on location and time.
3. Follow the Pure Motive system to ensure optimal scheduling practices.
4. Learn and proficiently utilize software systems for scheduling and tracking purposes.
5. Lead and direct the team of technicians, providing clear instructions and guidance as needed.
6. Ensure adherence to procedures and documents for each service call, debriefing technicians after each call to confirm completion.
7. Utilize data to assign the best-suited technicians to qualified leads, aiming to increase revenue generation.
8. Ensure accurate listing of parts on appointments for replenishment and oversee replenishment schedules.
9. Confirm correct procedures for special ordered parts and coordinate with the purchasing team.
10. Instruct technicians on shop visits for payments, restocking, truck cleanings, etc.
11. Monitor technician hours to minimize overtime and document opportunities for retraining on a gap log.
Requirements:
1. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
2. Proficiency with technology and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
3. Strong leadership abilities with confidence to give direction and handle confrontations when necessary.
4. Spatial awareness and in-depth knowledge of South Mississippi's geography.
5. Availability to work hours aligned with the technicians' schedule, typically from 7:00 am until job completion.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks and make efficient scheduling decisions.
7. Previous experience in dispatching or a related field is preferred.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in scheduling and documentation.
10. Positive attitude and ability to encourage others, even while holding them accountable.
