The Director for Communications & Creative Strategy assists with all aspects of communication for Wyoming Athletics including the development and execution of communication strategies.
The Director for Communications & Creative Strategy assists with all aspects of communication for Wyoming Athletics including the development and execution of communication strategies. The Director for Communications & Creative Strategy collaborates with applicable departmental units (e.g., Communications (Media & Public Relations), Creative Services and Marketing & Branding, etc.) in planning, editing and strategically telling the Athletic Department’s best stories while promoting and protecting the Wyoming Athletics brand. These stories are produced in a myriad of ways – videos, graphics, motion graphics and animations, written stories, photographs, media releases and media pitches – and on multiple channels – through our social media, video productions, website, app and external media. The position may also be assigned duties for certain sports as a media relations contact. This position works with and answers questions from external media and supports the needs of coaches and student-athletes from our 17 intercollegiate (NCAA) teams. This role reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications.
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
