Perfect Communications, a direct mail printing company located in Moorestown, NJ is seeking an experienced Mail Data Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for postal preparation, data-cleansing, and postal document preparation for daily mailing jobs. The ability to execute simple and complex variable data print projects for print would be a plus.

As part of your role, you will work directly with the client and project managers to gather their requirements to implement. You will act as a liaison to explain and communicate customer requirements internally.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and cleanse data for mailing requirements including personalization and postal presorting using BCC Mail Manager software.
• Using BCC Mail Manager’s Taskmaster feature to automate processing of data jobs.
• Set up automation for daily files.
• Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.).
• Troubleshoot data-related problems.
• Communicate with Production Manager about status of work and any issues with work in progress.
• Utilize previously built workflows.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of postal regulations.
• Understand the process of CASS certification, presorting and inkjet print preparation.
• Verify and check proper weights, rates, sizes, and qualifications required by the USPS guidelines.

What You Bring:

• Knowledge of USPS bulk mail regulations
• Proficiency with mail processing software
• Experience with BCC Mail Manager and understanding of scripting with the Taskmaster feature.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, various delimited file types (CSV, Tab, Pipe, etc.).
• Must have knowledge of printing terminology and basic print specifications including margins, bleeds, etc.
• Knowledge of variable data software (i.e. Quadient Inspire, XMPie, FusionPro) and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
