Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     We are seeking a highly motivated Loan Specialist to join our team. As a Loan Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their loan applications and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.     Responsibilities:

    - Process loan applications and gather necessary documentation

    - Conduct credit analysis to assess loan eligibility

    - Review loan documents for accuracy and completeness

    - Collaborate with loan officers to ensure timely and accurate loan origination

    - Maintain knowledge of mortgage servicing guidelines and regulations, including TILA, FNMA, and Fair Housing regulations

    - Assist clients in understanding loan terms and answering any questions they may have

    - Perform 10-key typing and math calculations accurately

    - Coordinate with escrow companies to facilitate the closing process

    Qualifications:

    For the GS-09 level: Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates:

    • Knowledge and understanding of mortgage loan making/servicing and credit principles and practices in order to assess the fundamental soundness of single family housing loans and to independently examine applications, supporting documents, and credit reports, and maintain servicing activities on small mortgage loans. Experience may have been gained in work equivalent to furnishing information to borrowers and applicants on loan programs, eligibility requirements, financial and credit requirements;
    • Analyzing information provided by loan applicants, determining eligibility for mortgage loans, and making loan recommendations to a senior employee;
    • Assisting senior level employees in initiating action to graduate borrowers who are eligible for other credit sources
