Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     How you will make an impact:
    • Perform supplier qualifications in support of QMS including, supplier audits, review of Quality Agreements, review of certifications, and review of supplier surveys.
    • Documentation support
    • Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL)
    • Review and support Supplier Corrective Action requests (SCARs) and responses
    • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate and communicate supplier expectations
    • Facilitate meetings between Engineering, Supplier Management, and Purchasing
    • Monitor supplier performance and supplier qualifications to assist in maintaining the status of the supplier
    • Support development and maintenance of supplier management procedures and processes
    • Support supplier management process improvements
    • Support QMS collection and trending of supplier-related quality data
    • Manage and maintain supplier quality databases
    To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
    • Associates/Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent working experience is preferred
    • 3 years of experience with Supplier Quality
    • Experience auditing external suppliers recommended
    • Corrective and Preventive Action with suppliers
    • Support and Participate in compliance and regulatory audits and inspections
    • Strong written/verbal communication skills, attention to detail
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
    • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
    • Ability to analyze data for accuracy and correctly interpret results
    • Skilled in various computer programs. Including but not limited to: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote, ERP and MRP tools
