Responsible for providing quality dining experiences by overseeing dining room staff and maintaining a pleasant and clean dining environment.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to three years related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current ServSafe Certification required. Obtain and hold any local, state and / or county required food handling / sanitation licenses and / or certificates.
Management / Decision Making
Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these.
Knowledge and Skills
Possesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment.
Has working knowledge of a functional discipline. Must have outgoing and cheerful personality and be energetic, friendly, and organized.
Must enjoy working with older adults and be capable of walking and standing for long periods of time. Ability to read and write English;
ability to communicate with residents and other employees; ability to follow oral and written directions.
