About the role: Elevate the dining experience at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village as our Overnight Cook, where you'll craft exquisite dishes during the late hours for our guests. Your role will involve expertly executing culinary creations while maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and food safety in our kitchen. If you're a dedicated culinary professional seeking to excel in an upscale hospitality environment, join our team and be part of creating unforgettable dining experiences. What you will do: Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality. Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards. Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals. What you bring: High school education or equivalent experience One year previous experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet Experience in In Room Dining / Room Service is preferred Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. The ability to have strong communication skills between co-workers and guests. Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
