Who you are:
As an Employee Relations Specialist II, you are our employee’s first line of support, counseling and guiding employees as needed. You will also be responsible for partnering with managers to recruit and hire qualified applicants for non-exempt positions. Most importantly, this role is about building trust through every interaction and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.
What you’ll do:

Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for mid-level exempt and non-exempt open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings

Counsel and guide employees to assist and mediate complex work-related situations and to ensure that employee questions are consistently and efficiently answered

Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations

Present New Hire Induction and Orientation to acclimate new employees to Frost and to strengthen company culture throughout the organization

Participate in employee disciplinary meetings and investigations leading up to termination

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices

Conduct Exit Interviews

Enter, maintain, and process information in the payroll system; information may include employee’s hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information

Assist the HR Management team with various research projects and/or special projects

Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion

Administer the FMLA process and ADA requests

Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience

2 years of experience in Employee Relations or Human Resources

Experience with counseling managers and employees
-
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
-
Strong Interviewing and organizational skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
