    The Nurse Consultant is a qualified, licensed professional who is responsible for assisting in the overall service and compliance of the clinical services provided in accordance with the policies and procedures of Pharmcare USA, state professional standards and all Health Care regulating entity requirements.

    License in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
    Knowledge of State, Federal, Local, CMS and OSHA rules and regulations.
    Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    Ability to plan, organize, implement and evaluate clinical programs that will meet the need of the community served.
    Ability to teach, train, and empower staff to implement the clinical service process in the home and/or Institutional setting.
    Self-directed with excellent time management skills and able to work independently
    Ability to work under stressful conditions.
    Ability to get to the job site.
    Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate.

    Job Specifications:
    See State Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations; also, all Pharmacy regulations that apply.
    In all activities will comply with accreditation, legal, regulatory and safety requirements.

    Physical Demands:
    Must be able to travel to locations; may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
    Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines and printers up to 100% of the time;
    Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;

    Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others;
    This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping;
    Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;
    Must be able to tolerate normal office environment and exposure to various medications
