EMT/Paramedic Supervisor jobs in Metairie, LA
EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises emergency medical staff consisting of EMTs, paramedics, and drivers. Administers the staff work schedule to ensure adequate coverage. Being an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor coordinates required training and development activities. Maintains activity logs and prepares required reports. Additionally, EMT/Paramedic Supervisor may require registry in NREMT. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a manager. The EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Supervisors confirm the ability to clean tanks and containers utilized in RCS operations, including all varieties of liquid mud and dry bulk tanks, supporting both Dockside and Offshore operations. This position must complete tasks on time while demonstrating the technical knowledge required to achieve RCS tank cleaning responsibilities. This job description is a brief description of the job function. The Supervisor is not limited to the job duties listed below and may be asked from time to time to perform other miscellaneous job duties.
