Endoscopy Technician performs various direct patient care activities in the endoscopy unit under the supervision of a physician. Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly. Being an Endoscopy Technician may assist with medical procedures. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Endoscopy Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Endoscopy Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Summary of Position
