Endoscopy Technician performs various direct patient care activities in the endoscopy unit under the supervision of a physician. Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly. Being an Endoscopy Technician may assist with medical procedures. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Endoscopy Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Endoscopy Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works directly alongside physicians and nurses to assist in endoscopy procedures, e.g. EGD and Colonoscopy in busy outpatient setting. Skills that are needed to be proficient at this position are: attentiveness, professionalism, excellent at interpersonal communications, and willing to work in a team-centered environment.
We are hiring for Full-Time or Part-Time positions. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required. We are happy to provide on-site training for those who are interested.
