Welcomes endoscopy patients by confirming patient identification.
Prepares equipment for procedure.
Cleaning, high-level disinfecting of equipment.
Assists physicians during endoscopy procedures.
Maintains record of endoscopy procedures In Electronic Medical Record.
Maintains quality results by following standards, procedures, and policies.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Skills/Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Skills, Procedural Skills, Use of Medical Technologies, Bedside Manner, Analyzing Information, Medical Teamwork, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Equipment Trouble Shooting, Informing Others, Thoroughness.
High School Graduate; BCLS Certification
At least one year of experience in a Medical setting with a working knowledge of Medical terminology; prior experience in an OR/GI setting a plus.
Experience:
2 years endo tech experience needed
Olympus and Medivator scope cleaning equipment needed
License:
BLS Certification (Preferred)
