We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our Endoscopy Unit. In this role, you will perform as a member of the healthcare team to apply the nursing process when making nursing judgments and decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation/delivery, and evaluation of patient care, and documenting relevant data and care processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for procedures, administer light to moderate sedation under the direction of the gastroenterologist, and provide post-procedure care for same-day patients.
• Develop, evaluate, and revise the patient's plan of care and nursing actions in response to the patient's needs.
• Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge or transfer.
• Administer medication to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license.

Schedule:

• Full-time, permanent position
• 32-40 hours per week
• Schedule; Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm
• NO WEEKENDS!
