Transportation Coordinators across Three Rivers Community Action / Hiawathaland Transit provide leadership to transportation staff as assigned. The Transportation Dispatch Coordinator reports to the Co-Director(s) of Transportation and, under their direction, hires, trains, supervises and coaches Customer Service Specialists (Dispatchers). The Transportation Dispatch Coordinator also resolves customer grievances and internal issues as they arise. This full-time position (40 hours per week) has a great benefit package including generous Paid Time Off (PTO), and is based in Plainview. Typical hours are Monday through Friday. Shift will vary based on needs of the department. Additionally, all Coordinators and other Transportation leaders are part of an on-call weekly rotation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or similar field preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of experience managing/supervising employees
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft software
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Relationship-driven, outgoing, with ability to lead and direct staff
• Commitment to outstanding customer service
• Ability to thrive in a disruptive, high stress, fast-paced environment
• Ability to abide by HIPAA (privacy) regulations and Three Rivers Community Action / Hiawathaland Transit’s strict confidentiality policies
• Availability during dispatch hours is essential and will be determined by the need of the department
