Energy Dispatcher, Sr. jobs in Monterey, CA

Summary:

The Dispatcher is responsible for the coordination of shipping and receiving activities, including dock usage.

Job Function Statements Essential Functions:

• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Compliance to SOP's, GMPs, Housekeeping, Safety, and all other FE policies.
• Communicate with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Transportation, Customer Service, and the rest of the FDC team on a regular basis (conference calls, proactive communication and information sharing as needed).
• File and document maintenance.
• Maintaining supplies and ordering as needed (includes office supplies, BOL's, templates, etc.)
• Accurate data entry and file maintenance in PRMS.
• Following proper documentation procedures.
• Ship confirmation of Customer orders.
• Maintain and execute requests for trailer moves in YMS, yard management system and ensure follow-up is done as needed for YMS alerts.
• Compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Oversee VOICE Queue to disseminate work to all associates. Troubleshoot system issues to ensure work flow continues.
• Responsible for order assignment que and truck check in.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Basic computer skills required.
• Highly-motivated person who is able to multi-task in a fast-paced, constant-changing environment.
• Team-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work days, nights and weekends as necessary.
• Capable of working in a cold (32-36-degree F) and wet environment.

Other Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• Bilingual - English/Spanish
• AS400, Microsoft Office, and inventory experience a plus.

Experience:

1-2 years of dispatch or related experience

Inventory experience

Education/Training:

High School Diploma
