Engineering Manager manages all engineering activities within a department including design, development, production and testing. Implements and maintains overall engineering objectives and initiatives. Being an Engineering Manager confronts and solves performance/operational issues to improve development efficiency. Leads and develops the engineering team. Additionally, Engineering Manager oversees a robust project management process and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule and on budget. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Typically reports to a director. The Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Engineering Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. You will manage a small but mighty team of engineers that work on the Trailforks web and mobile app teams. As a leader, your primary role is to put the goals of our customers and business first, drive product & architecture decisions with your product and design counterparts, and help your team reach its maximum potential. You'll work closely with the team and other engineering leaders to set technical strategy and direction.

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $135,000 to 170,000. Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and more.
