Job Summary

Hear Billing Solutions is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Insurance Verification Representative. As an Insurance Verification Representative, you will be responsible for verifying all insurance benefits and coverage for clients in a variety of settings. Hear Billing Solutions (HBS) provides full-service Audiology billing services to our clients throughout the US from our office in Oxford, NC. We are expanding and looking for qualified candidates to join our team. We have a casual, family oriented, and teamwork environment.

Essential Duties:

• Verifying insurance coverage of patients
• Calling insurance to get detailed benefits for hearing test and hearing aid coverage
• Returning verification of benefits to clients
• Updating patient information when needed
• Keeping records via excel spreadsheet of verifications received and completed daily
• Prepare an individual daily tracker for tasks completed for any given day
• This position is Monday-Friday, in office

Required Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to follow through on assignments quickly
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while still maintaining focus on the task at hand
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous billing/insurance experience preferred with familiarity of medical terminology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
