Enterprise Architecture Director directs the architectural design, development, and deployment of an organization's overall IT systems. Leads the strategy, management, and implementation of the systems architecture function. Being a Enterprise Architecture Director ensures that systems are designed to consider functional requirements, scalability, and security. Evaluates system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Additionally, Enterprise Architecture Director identifies and researches potential technology products to enhance solution delivery. Participates in creating strategies and policies to meet overall business goals. Oversees implementation of architecture system and advises adjustments to top management. May require a master's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Enterprise Architecture Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Enterprise Architecture Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     As a Director for Business Consulting within our successful Advisory Practice, you will lead, manage and grow a viable Enterprise Architecture & Data Consulting capability across public and private sectors. A key focus of the role will be to sell and deliver enterprise architecture solutions that enable the business focused digital strategy offering. Additionally, to develop a set of market relevant data centric consulting and other related offerings. Working across the Business Consulting and Technology Advisory Practice to generate pull through of CGI services at scale across the UK & Australia business.

    This is a Director-level individual where the successful candidate will be responsible for the business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification to client approval, building upon relevant consulting models ranging from architecture guidance, proof of concept, portfolio assessments, transformational assistance and review of best practices. The individual will form part of a revenue-generating team and you will have approx. 12 Consultants reporting into you.

    This role can be based from any of our 19 UK based offices, but this is a hybrid role where you can also work from home. We expect you to travel 1-2 days per week to CGI/client site (on average).


    Your future duties and responsibilities
    The Advisory Services Director position is a high-profile and demanding role providing advisory services to clients, promoting consulting services, developing offerings and help managing financial performance.
    You will work closely with relevant teams such as Digital Transformation, IP, Global Technology Operations service delivery teams and carry a large degree of accountability in delivering acceptable financial performance to the business.


    Required qualifications to be successful in this role
    As a Director you must offer a highly-experienced background in IT Services across a range of multi-discipline environments, including within an Advisory Practice environment. Were looking for a proven background at a senior level in the IT Services industry gained through working for a large scale Systems Integrator and/or Consulting firm, offering further expertise in sales, developing high quality solutions and proposals to support the business development lifecycle.


    Required qualifications to be successful in this role
    You will have proven experience of growing a business within Enterprise Architecture and/or Data Consulting offerings.

    This is a senior role requiring a range of traits across financial management, with a background in Enterprise Architecture development, Data consulting, commercial models (cost and pricing, contractual terms & conditions, IP protection) and relevant industry business development experience.
