Centric Pipe - Ore City (Greater Longview, TX)  is hiring for a Manager of QUALITY CONTROL & QUALITY ASSURANCE. The role will manage the quality operations and controls in a steel pipe heat treatment & machining / end-finishing 24/5 or 24/6 operations.  We are a leading provider of high-quality API (American Petroleum Institute) certified products for the oil and gas industry. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our standards of excellence.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager with extensive experience in API production and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), specifically in ultrasonic testing. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of API 5CT specifications and possess a proven track record of implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures in accordance with API 5CT specifications and industry best practices.
• Oversee all aspects of NDT operations, with a focus on ultrasonic testing, to ensure accurate and reliable inspection of products.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality control and assurance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage the documentation and record-keeping processes related to quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, certifications, and audits.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns regarding product quality, providing timely and effective resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• At least 7-10 years of experience in a Quality Management role within the pipe (casing and/or tubing) production industry, with a focus on NDT techniques, particularly ultrasonic testing.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced experience may be a replacement for degree.
• Strong understanding of API 5CT specifications and other relevant industry standards.
• Proven experience implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• A plus to be ASNT Certified NDT Level II or III in ultrasonic testing (preferred).
• Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Location:

This position is based in Greater Longview, TX, and requires occasional travel as needed. Relocation assistance is available.
