Inside Product Sales Representative - Eastern US/Canada

  • Job Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced professional to serve as the Inside Sales Representative for Eastern US & Canada coverage. This position requires past experience in Industrial Sales, Belting or related industry, and an understanding of calling on and developing strong Industrial relationships with Distributors, Dealers and OEM accounts. This is a hunter position and will require extensive prospecting efforts. This is a non-exempt salary position with remote working opportunities.

    We’re searching for an energetic, driven, detail-oriented person. You must be hard-working, dedicated, and a fast learner. An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks is a plus.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

    • Responsible for actively seeking and establishing new accounts
    • Establish distributor, dealer, OEM and/or national accounts
    • Educate customers and prospects on IMTECH products
    • Effectively resolve customer issues
    • Clearly and effectively communicate with staff members and customers
    • Have a clear understanding of profit margins and how they affect the company
    • Be involved in developing and implementing sales plans including frequency of contact and follow up
    • Compile call reports for management describing all customer contacts in CRM system
    • Work with marketing department to develop strategies and to give input on product/service features and benefits
    • Other job duties as assigned by management
    • Work with Outside Sales Representatives to schedule face to face demonstrations, training, etc

    Qualifications:

    • Industrial sales and territory management experience with a minimum of 1-2 years
    • Understanding of Industrial markets and the ability to work with and develop a distributor networks
    • Able to spend considerable time on the phone daily, interacting with prospects and customers
    • Must be physical able to 100lbs
    • Advanced computer skills and the ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Accept personal accountability and responsibility to deliver on commitments
    • Effectively and professionally interact with customers and suppliers
    • Very effective and grammatically correct written and oral communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Objectively view an application or service from the user/customer perspective
    • Possess strong organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
    • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
    • Work independently with little supervision and self-motivated to produce the required results with minimal supervision
    • Possess a valid driver’s license
