Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Generalist Manager typically reports to a unit/department head. The Env., Health, and Safety Generalist Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Position Summary: A Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist offers valuable support and assistance to children and families in need. This role will require good time management and critical thinking skills. In this position you would assess child safety and risk while working with families, agencies and the courts for case planning. This is a fast paced environment which requires organization, a high degree of expertise and skill in maintaining established quality and accuracy in work assignments.
There are two different types of Case Manager: Investigative and Ongoing

Training: During the first 22 weeks of employment you will be classified as a Department of Child Safety Trainee, and will be in training full time. Your training will be a mix of classroom and on-the-job field experience.
Salary: $21.70 per hour
