Evaluates results and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies. Being an Environmental Compliance Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Environmental Compliance Specialist relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. The Environmental Technical Specialist will provide CEU Juneau Environmental Management Branch (EMB) support on CSO-DLM construction projects at units across the D17 AOR. Primary duties shall support environmental aspects of executing shore-side maintenance and repair construction projects.
