Environmental Compliance Specialist, Sr. conducts required environmental tests, analysis and observations. Evaluates results and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies. Being an Environmental Compliance Specialist, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Environmental Compliance Specialist, Sr. relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.     Position Responsibilities:

    This position provides specialized transportation and disposal services to our clients.

    • Manifesting, packaging, and labeling of material
    • Inventory and data entry
    • Loading/unloading, coordinating transportation
    • Spill Response
    • Sampling/profiling material while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong team player
    • Experience with Microsoft Office
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Ability to follow through on assignments.
    • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification
    • DOT Physical/Drug Screen
