We are hiring for an Environmental Services Supervisor at UVM Medical Center (UVMMC)!

Shift Details:

This full-time position is scheduled Monday- Friday on the evening shift. There is no weekend scheduling requirement.

SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE:

• External candidates are eligible for a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for 18-month employment commitment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ES Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical appearance and total Environment of Care. The Supervisor coordinates all routine and project assignments and activities for ES, maintains all schedules, training, evaluations and performance improvement plans. Meets with Department Managers regularly. The incumbent(s) achieves cost, quality and regulatory objectives while meeting FAHC'S strategic and operational objectives.

As an Environmental Supervisor, you will:

• Coordinate staff in both unit based and non-unit based. Coordinate the setups, moves, AV equipment, Waste Team and all other areas as assigned.

• Assist with the implementation of training and education of all ES staff. Ensure training is adequate and complies with safety procedures and regulations.

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the department including staffing, resource allocation, and quality assurance measures.

EDUCATION:

Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of three years of supervisory experience, preferably in a Health Care environment.
