Equipment Director directs the management of company equipment including procurement activities, preventative maintenance, repair/replacement and safety assurance. Manages the records, licenses, inspections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools. Being an Equipment Director minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Document and tracks equipment performance throughout the product lifetime. Additionally, Equipment Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Equipment Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be an Equipment Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Description

    We are searching for a Machine Operator for our Automated Weld Lines to join our growing team!

     

    Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus! Eligible employees can receive an additional $1 per hour, for every hour worked, in addition to their hourly wages for working their scheduled shift.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Utilizes Human Machine Interface (HMI) to operate equipment and make adjustments as needed
    • Ensures quality of product by measuring equipment to ensure proper product specifications are met
    • Responsible for visual inspection of welds and cosmetic appearance of product
    • Utilizes hand tools to make minor repairs or adjustments, as needed
    • Processes product logs to ensure consistency and quality
    • May be required to perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

    Qualifications

     

    • Prior HMI experience is a plus. Eagerness to learn HMI is required
    • Mechanically inclined is a plus to understand equipment operation
    • Ability to Lift 50 pounds 
    • Flexibility to rotate to a different operation within the facility as needed
    • Ability to work overtime on the weekend as business conditions indicate
    • Willingness to cross train on numerous product lines
    • Ability to work well in teams
    • Ability to communicate with urgency to team leader / supervisor on any nonconforming issues as they arrive
