Equipment Engineering Manager manages equipment engineering activities within an organization. Implements and maintains policies and procedures for designing, developing and implementing equipment. Being an Equipment Engineering Manager ensures all equipment engineering projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies and objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Equipment Engineering Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Equipment Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Heavy Equipment Operator

  • We are General Contractor specializing in Grading, Underground Utilities, Paving and Concrete Flat work. We have been in business for over 40 years with locations in California, Colorado and Nevada.

    We have been operating in Nevada for a little over 5 years and are continuing to grow with a number of projects kicking off this year.

    We are looking for individuals who would like to join our team of experienced and professional employees looking to grow our operations in the Northern Nevada area.

    Most of our work consists of heavy civil site work including; subdivisions, commercial tilt ups, apartments and public works projects.

    Equipment Operators must have experience in Site work Construction (Grading - both mass and finish. Underground Utilities – Water, Sewer, Storm & Electrical/Communications). Both residential subdivisions and commercial.

    OSHA 10hour or 30hour certification a plus, if you do not have either we can provide training.

    Understanding GPS also a plus. We provide training for this as well.

    Excavators -

    • Size: Mini Ex, CAT 320 all the way up to CAT 385
    • Application: Digging and installing mainline utilities such as sewer, water, storm drain and electrical/communications.

    Loaders -

    • Size: CAT 950 all the way up to CAT 988
    • Application: Working with utility trench crews, grading, loading trucks and material handling.

    Dozers -

    • Size: CAT D3 all the way up to CAT D10
    • Application: Mass grading, finish grading, pushing scrapers, material management

    Motor Graders (Blades) -

    • Size: CAT 12H&M up to CAT 16H&M
    • Application: Finish Grading soil and aggregates for roads, parking lots and flatwork.

    Skiploaders (capable of cutting finish grade)

    • Application: Finish Grading soil and aggregates for roads, parking lots and flatwork.

    Scrapers -

    • Size: CAT 613 up to CAT 657 (including push/pull, paddle wheels and push scrapers)
    • Application: Mass grade and finish grade

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $25.00 - $65.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
