Equipment Operator Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team. As an essential member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to ensure the efficient handling of peanuts. This role requires a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with other personnel.

Duties:

- Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery (Cleaner).
- Unload peanuts into cleaner using wagon hoist.
- Monitor cleaner and make any adjustments needed to ensure peanuts are being cleaned with minimal product loss.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and notify supervisor of any problems that need attention.

- Stay on task and maximize output from cleaner.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Extended hours
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Newton, AL (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Newton, AL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
