Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery and a strong understanding of dirt work operations. This role is essential for ensuring that all equipment is operated safely and efficiently, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as dozer, trackhoe, skid steer, mini excavator.
• Perform tasks related to the excavation such as land clearing, grading, digging concrete footers, etc.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform labor tasks as needed such as shovel work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery including but not limited to dozers, trackhoes, skid steers, mini excavator.
• Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but NOT required.
• Strong understanding of dirt work construction site operations and safety practices.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
