ERP Programmer develops, reviews, and modifies the programming to support the configuration of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Analyzes ERP system performance and encodes and debugs any issues or vulnerabilities to improve the integrity, security, or application of the system. Being an ERP Programmer develops coding to support the programming of new ERP modules and system upgrades and assists with the configuration planning and deployment of releases. Ensures ERP data and system infrastructure security, designs patches for vulnerabilities, and develops backup processes. Additionally, ERP Programmer plans and designs application tables, reports, and new modules to improve system configuration, functionality, and efficiency. Coordinates software integration and maintains technical documentation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Programmer work is closely managed. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is the first line of phone support for desktop and ERP related issues, evaluates them, and either resolves the issues or assigns them to other staff.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports to the Infrastructure and Support Manager.
KEY RESULTS:
1. Ensures that all devices throughout the network are performing at an optimal level. Makes recommendations and performs corrective actions as necessary.
2. Provides first line of support for all ERP systems, networks & endpoints.
3. Effectively communicates and cooperates with outside vendors to assess, purchase and supply Pacific’s equipment needs in a timely manner and within budget.
4. Ensures that PC Desktops are functioning at an optimal level for both hardware and software. Makes recommendations and performs corrective actions as necessary.
5. Responsible for all video systems. Coordinates with internal resources and vendor on all related issues.
6. Coordinates with internal resources and vendor for document management system related issues.
7. Daily demonstrates commitment to be present and work all hours assigned as needed.
8. Willingly performs and completes any work assigned in an efficient, safe and productive manner.
9. Cooperates with employees, branch personnel, customers, suppliers and others with honesty, integrity and respectful manner.
10. Willingly complies with all regulatory requirements, including federal, state, local, company and customer statutes or rules.
11. Manages time efficiently.
12. Accepts responsibility for own decisions and actions.
13. Performs other duties as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Good vision with the ability to read computer screens, documentation, instructions, etc.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to walk, climb, crawl, kneel, bend, squat, and reach overhead.
3. Manual dexterity to work with small tools and instruments.
4. Ability to hear and verbally communicate with vendors and employees.
5. Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
