Estimating Director leads the estimating function and develops standards, procedures, tools, and methodologies to produce cost estimates for technical projects based on work scope, specifications, and proposal or contract requirements. Establishes processes to perform analysis of project requirements, plans, and specifications to identify labor, material, equipment, and service requirements. Being an Estimating Director incorporates benchmark data, trends, and historical pricing to generate detailed cost estimates that consist of itemized lists of expenses, labor hours, material quantities, and potential cost variations. Develops a workflow and system for scheduling and processing estimate requests and communicating with stakeholders. Additionally, Estimating Director depending on the complexity and type of project, may use different estimating methods, mathematical models, or specialized estimating software tools to generate estimates. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Estimating Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Estimating Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     THE POSITION

    We are seeking an exceptional Director of Hospitality to join our leadership team. This key role will shape and nurture a culture of exceptional service across our staff. The Director of Hospitality will oversee every facet of the member and visitor experience, ensuring a seamless hospitality integration with efficient business operations. While prior experience in the firearms industry or shooting clubs is not required, the ideal candidate must bring a strong background in the hospitality industry to this role.


    KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design and execute white-glove, concierge-level guest experiences for individuals and groups ranging from first-time handgun users to experienced shotgun shooters.
    • Build and foster a community-focused atmosphere where guests feel welcome, valued, and encouraged to return.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for VIP clients, ensuring seamless service and memorable engagements.
    • Design and pilot, an account management-style program for a select group of ranch members, taking full ownership of their experience by proactively staying in touch, anticipating their needs, and ensuring their guests have everything required for a seamless visit.
    • Operate, train, clean, and maintain all firearm platforms, ensuring safety and precision.
    • Provide expert instruction for guests of all skill levels, instilling confidence in those new to firearms while catering to the needs of seasoned shooters.
    • Stay informed on the latest firearms products, configurations, and market trends, serving as a trusted resource for guests and staff.
    • Partner with the General Manager to build out pro shop offerings that align with the needs and preferences of incoming guests.
    • Drive sales of memberships, subscriptions, events, and retail products with a high success rate.
    • Process FFL paperwork and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms regulations.
    • Identify opportunities to expand services, amenities, and offerings at the ranch.
    • Lead by example, setting and maintaining high standards for guest interactions, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.
    • Train, mentor, and oversee staff to deliver consistent, exceptional hospitality and service.
    • Maintain and improve operational processes, ensuring the ranch is always pristine, welcoming, and guest-ready.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Extensive knowledge of firearms, including operation, maintenance, sales, and manufacturing.
    • Proven experience in a sales-driven role, ideally within the hospitality or firearms industry.
    • Strong understanding of high-end guest service standards, including steps of service and community-building principles.
    • Ability to curate unique and memorable experiences for a wide variety of clients.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to work autonomously, solve problems, and implement new ideas.
    • Familiarity with FFL paperwork and firearms-related compliance.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • A background in hospitality, luxury service, or similar client-facing environments is strongly preferred.
