Estimating Manager jobs in Clearwater, FL

JMy Client, who is located in Pinellas County, is in need of an Estimating Manager.

The right candidate will develop business estimating processes, strategically determine and assign advantageous project leads, review client leads for scope of work. Experience in estimating and/or management with Stainless Steel / Aluminum and/or railings is highly desirable.

- 5 years experience as an Estimator, preferably in Construction Industry

- 2 years experience in Estimating Management

Responsibilities:

• Technical expertise reviewing Architectural Plans
• Develop Calculators and other estimating processes

· Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors

· Estimating software experience required (i.e. Construct Connect, Bluebeam, Plan Swift); proficient with MS Office

· Managing bids from vendors and contractors

· Manage estimators, provide direction and training

· Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders

· Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product

· Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project

Use bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis

· Compiling and recording actual costs

• Strong sales and client relations
• Ability to generate new business.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word etc
• Ability to produce accurate quotes quickly (labor, material, equipment, etc)
• Digital take-off experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
