Job Title : Flooring Estimator
Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented Flooring Estimator to join our team. The Flooring Estimator will accurately estimate costs and materials for flooring projects, collaborating with sales, project management, and installation teams.
Responsibilities :
Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements.
Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client needs.
Utilize industry software and tools to generate precise and competitive estimates, considering factors such as labor, materials, and additional services.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability information.
Review architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements accurately.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotes, and proposals.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator or similar role in the flooring industry.
Strong knowledge of different flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in using estimation software and tools to generate accurate estimates.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to calculate measurements, quantities, and costs.
Solid understanding of construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and architectural plans.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
