Job Description; Responsible for assisting in the development of project opportunities for Iracore. The position will have a variety of duties relative to determining execution plans, evaluating subcontractors, and pricing to formulate accurate and successful proposals. The successful candidate must be a self-starter that can meet deadlines, is detail oriented, and is willing to think creatively about work methods and processes.
Essential Responsibilities
· Comprehend drawings to determine material takeoff
· Communicate information to Customers, and Sales Dept
· Assemble competitive pricing from fabricators and other service providers for molds and inserts
· Perform project calculations in Microsoft Excel
· Utilize software to build cost workup
· Create proposals, and part builds in an ERP Environment
· Communicate with customers and sub-partners – Subcontractor’s, Material Suppliers, Vendors, etc.
· Work with supply chain purchasing material post award
· Undertaking responsibility for driving the estimating and cost management function for assigned projects, including benchmarking, cost control and cost reporting
Qualifications
· An understanding of engineering drawings
· Good communication skills – Phone, Virtual Meeting, Email
· A good knowledge base of Microsoft Office, ERP and Salesforce
· Confident problem solver capable of making educated decisions
· Ability to collaborate with other departments, customers, and vendors
· Must display excellent customer service skills
