Job Requirements & Responsibilities

The Salesman/Estimator will be able to expand our customer base and provide residential and commercial roofing and construction formal bids and / or budgets through interpreting plans, specifications, performing take-offs and estimating job costs. The salesman / estimator will be in direct communication with clients and their representatives to ensure that our estimates meet their needs and requirements. And continually follow up on all leads and proposals.

• Completing bid opportunities in an efficient and accurate manner
• Business development: Events, creating new relationships
• The ability to understand job specific plan sets and specifications
• Keeping up to date information on our BuilderTrend software
• Proficient in using computer based technology such as desk top computers, laptop computers or tablets, cell phone communications and applications, Microsoft suite programs such as Excel and Word, etc…
• Excellent customer service Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to work with others well
• Familiar with metal and shingle roofing
• Construction knowledge required

Compensation

• Competitive wage based on industry standard, skill set and location
• $40k-60k Base Salary / decided upon experience level
• Pre-structured no cap commission program in place with earning potential upwards of $130,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
