Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager oversees and promotes the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Implements programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager communicates the organization's ethical standards, policies, and regulations. Delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager conducts compliance monitoring, investigations, and remediations of any non-compliant actions. Manages the administration of confidential reporting systems or helplines for employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Ethics & Compliance Business Unit Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What you will do:

    • Follow a designated route as assigned by the company. 
    • Visually inspect our clients’ petroleum storage tank systems and related facilities using a company-provided iPad. 
    • Become an expert on state Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) regulations according to Federal guidelines.
    • Work outside in all reasonable weather conditions.
    • Obtain required documents to ensure compliance with departmental regulations.
    • Gather and organize information using our designated software platforms.
    • Observe safety and security procedures at all times.
    • Respond quickly to customer needs. 
    • Respond to requests for service and assistance.
    • Gather and analyze information like a pro. 
    • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in every task. 
    • Report any potentially unsafe conditions. 
    • Use equipment and materials properly – safety is key.

    The position requires working outside in all reasonable weather conditions, and you may be away from home for more than five days at a time. 

    What you need:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-6 months of related experience is a plus.
    • Experience using Apple/MAC devices, iOS operating system, and Google suite.
    • Valid driver’s license and driving history that allows insurability.
    • Determination to uphold integrity at all times.

    This is a completely entry level role! No previous experience is required to be a Compliance Inspector. We provide all training, and with the help of 7G, you will obtain multiple state certifications within 30-90 days of employment. Company vehicle, iPad tablet, tools, and reimbursement for business expenses are provided.
