  • Overview

    The Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing Communications Manager with the planning, organization, and communication of marketing offers, promotions, events, and other campaigns based on marketing strategies, programs, and client needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for maintaining comprehensive knowledge of current and upcoming events, promotions, campaigns, and other projects for Enterprise business units.
    • Meets with assigned clients weekly and spends time to gain an understanding of their needs and identify opportunities.
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining successful relationships with assigned clients; creates opportunities for deeper collaboration and interaction.
    • Coordinates, maintains, and updates associated meeting schedules, meeting agendas, project timelines, deliverables, and marketing calendars.
    • Ensures accurate records and supporting documentation for marketing projects including, but not limited to, invoices, contracts, receipts, travel requisitions, check requests, and purchase orders.
    • Builds and maintains good working relationships with Team Members and provides exceptional service to both external and internal partners.
    • Collaborates closely with Marketing colleagues to implement project initiatives.
    • Works closely with the appropriate Marketing representatives to develop strategically driven creative, media, public relations, customer relations, and digital and social investments of company resources.
    • Maintains frequent and consistent communication with clients to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of client needs, issues, and opportunities.
    • Conducts regular property walk-throughs to audit the use of internal signage, digital, and other marketing collateral.
    • Participates in the review of creative assets; responsible for proofreading and ensuring accuracy of overall content.
    • Supports special events held on or off-property as needed.
    • Assists and supports the Marketing Communications Manager with special projects.
    • Creates and provides requested reports and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
    • Two years of experience in marketing in the gaming or hospitality industry is preferred.
    • Intermediate computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
    • Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
    • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
    • Native American hiring preference applies.

    • Teamwork: Working as a productive member of a cohesive group toward a common goal and contributing to team development and effective team dynamics.
