Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations - Ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards - Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and effectiveness - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and maintenance - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any specific needs or requests - Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Respond promptly to guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness or maintenance issues - Assist in hiring and onboarding new housekeeping staff members Skills: - Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role - Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to effectively manage a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance as needed - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices - Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.
