Being an Executive Steward is responsible for inventory control and kitchen equipment, item management. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations. Additionally, Executive Steward may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Executive Steward supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Executive Steward typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Purpose:
Maintains kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:
Specific Responsibilities:
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with managers, delivery drivers and coworkers.
Must have the ability to exercise good judgement independently and perform job duties with minimal supervision.
Prior experience preferred, but not necessary.
Dependable transportation to and from work is required.
