Expatriate Administration Manager manages the human resources aspects of international employee placements. Develops and implements policies and procedures for placing expatriates. Being an Expatriate Administration Manager oversees visa procurement, tax equalization and coordination of housing, benefits, and compensation packages. Works with relocation firms, international agencies, and government officials. Additionally, Expatriate Administration Manager acts as advisor to expatriate administration team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Expatriate Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Expatriate Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Administration & Development Associate

  • Essential Functions

    • Provide front desk reception for visitors, vendors, staff and program participants. Answer and redirect incoming phone calls and inquiries. Provide typing, fax, mail, shipping as needed/directed.
    • Assist Senior Leadership and Programs with administrative support including meeting management.
    • Attend staff meetings as required.
    • Monitor and update Administration SharePoint database for consistency, accuracy
    • Monitor and update Development Databases, contacts and platforms (Salesforce, Constant Contact, Canva, Kindful) and generate mailing lists
    • Support Development fundraising and communications through campaign and newsletter support, execution and tracking. Provide social media presence and updates.
    • Support organization special and fundraising events

    Knowledge and Abilities

    • Excellent PC skills with extensive knowledge of office software including MS Office
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills for both internal and external-facing interactions
    • Marketing Communications platform experience desired (Canva, Constant Contact or similar)
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Ability to follow with procedures and reporting
    • Ability to use mature judgement with new and unfamiliar situations
    • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

    Equipment Used: Computer, telephone, eFax, copier and other equipment as necessary

    Physical Requirements
    Required to sit on a typical desk chair with the ability to sit for an extended period; ability to bend and reach as needed to access materials for the job. Must be able to safely lift up to 30 pounds without assistance. Ability to dial telephone numbers; hearing acuity in order to engage in telephone conversations; visual skills acceptable for providing supervision of the facility, the clients and the visitors if needed; ability to hold and write with a pen and pencil; ability to speak clearly on the phone and to people in person; ability to walk on various terrains, such as hard floors, concrete, grass, dirt and carpet.

    Method of Pay: Hourly, NON-Exempt
    Hours Per Week: FT30 9am – 3:30pm
    Supervised By: Executive Director & Development Associate
    Salary: $22 - 24/hr.
