Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at The Reserve Club at Woodside is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all facilities and grounds within the country club. This role ensures that the clubhouse, recreational areas, food and beverage facilities, and other club facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for members and guests.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance and Repair: o Oversee and perform routine maintenance and repairs of club facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
o Ensure that all facilities and equipment are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations.
o Perform maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment in the kitchen and food and beverage areas.
o Oversee and perform daily routine facility cleaning and maintenance including floor, and furniture care, lighting, and restroom sanitation.
2. Team Supervision: o Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
o Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure the timely completion of maintenance projects.
3. Preventative Maintenance: o Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the life of club facilities and equipment.
o Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
4. Vendor Management: o Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
o Ensure that all work performed by external vendors meets club standards and is completed within budget and on time.
5. Budget Management: o Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting costs and tracking expenditures.
o Ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
6. Safety and Compliance: o Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for staff and members.
o Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility maintenance and safety.
7. Inventory Management: o Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies required for maintenance tasks.
o Ensure timely procurement and restocking of necessary materials.
8. Emergency Response: o Be available to respond to facility emergencies, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
o Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in facility maintenance preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
- Experience with maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment in kitchen and food and beverage facilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions.
