Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management. Being a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR tracks work orders and ensures work follows established service and quality standards for completion. Schedules and supervises preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects. Additionally, FACILITIES SUPERVISOR maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws. May coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades. We are seeking a full-time Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to manage our janitorial activities at an Industrial Facility.
This individual will supervise employees and will have the responsibility of providing our clients with consistent, high quality cleaning results. The hourly pay is per hour.
Job Skills / Requirements
Consistently provide a clean, secure, and safe environment for the client.
Direct and oversee staff to accomplish daily, weekly and project specified cleaning tasks.
Perform cleaning tasks.
Effectively and cost efficiently execute the cleaning plan for the building.
Train, supervise, develop, and motivate your staff.
Monitor staffing levels, work schedules and time & attendance records.
Monitor and control company equipment, supplies and materials inventory.
Regularly inspect the facility and buildings to ensure cleanliness, secure and safe operations.
Take corrective action when appropriate.
Ensure the clients satisfaction through prompt responses to our clients requests and concerns.
Always communicate in a professional, clear, and timely fashion with clients, staff, and management.
Job Qualifications
Valid TWIC card and a valid driver's license with an excellent driving insurable record.
Experience leading and managing an hourly work force in janitorial, construction, or similar industries.
Strong work ethic and do whatever is necessary to get the job done.
Physically able to perform all tasks which include walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting.
