Shift: 7:00AM to 3:30PM, with Sundays and Mondays off (Holidays are work days if they fall outside Sunday and Monday)
Summary: Sheraton Oceanfront Virginia Beach is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have intermediate knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and pool maintenance. The primary responsibility of this role will be to manage a team of up to 8 technicians and painters, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving our preventative maintenance program.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of technicians and painters, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
Oversee the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of facilities and equipment.
Perform regular inspections of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and pool systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
Coordinate with other departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Intermediate knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and pool maintenance.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
Prior supervisory experience in facility maintenance is a plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as required.
