The Facility Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facilities mechanical components and electrical systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies. Performs skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. Being a Facility Maintenance Technician recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required. Develops, maintains and secures a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools. In addition, Facility Maintenance Technician assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to improve facility efficiency and work flow. Oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervior or manager. Being a Facility Maintenance Technician works under moderate supervision. Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Working as a Facility Maintenance Technician typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification. JOB SUMMARY:
Industrial or Manufacturing Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 3yrs working exp. will assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment, boilers, facility equipment and vehicles. Work to minimize unplanned downtime, troubleshooting skills, improve production quality, increase equipment efficiency, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Must have working knowledge within these areas: Electrical, Hydraulics, and Water Cooling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Implement the facilities preventative maintenance program.
- Conduct scheduled inspections of fluid levels, water flows, quench oils, filters, washer soap and similar items; notify supervisor of issues as needed.
- Work with Electrical, Hydraulics and Water cooling.
- Assist in equipment performance testing per company wide and manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Perform corrective actions required for out-of-specification conditions as directed by supervisor.
- Assist in analytical troubleshooting of issues to maintain equipment, facilities, and vehicles.
- Accurately record and document all completed maintenance, modifications, and repairs.
- Maintain shop copies of manuals and blueprints in a neat and organized manner and provide others with updated information as required.
- Make suggestions for changes which would help the plant achieve improved efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Assist in maintaining the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Education - College or technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years industrial maintenance experience if no technical degree.
- Must possess troubleshooting skills with mechanical equipment, analytical with knowledge in: Electrical, Hydraulics and Water Cooling.
- May be required to work overtime or any shift including weekends when need be.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate the English language.
- Hands on experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:- Must be able to work in elevated heights and in confined spaces with the ability to bend, pull, stoop, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and reach to perform functions.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. and may be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.

College or Technical degree: "Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance."
Hours/Shift: 2nd shift | Mon-Friday (3:30pm to 11:30pm).
