The Facility Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facilities mechanical components and electrical systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies. Performs skilled maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. Being a Facility Maintenance Technician recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required. Develops, maintains and secures a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools. In addition, Facility Maintenance Technician assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to improve facility efficiency and work flow. Oversee and review the work of lower-level technicians. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervior or manager. Being a Facility Maintenance Technician works under moderate supervision. Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Working as a Facility Maintenance Technician typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.     As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in performing preventative and reactive maintenance services on electromechanical equipment within the target city and surrounding areas. 


    Primary Responsibilities: 

    • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and then provide a solution 
    • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment adhering to OSHA safety regulations 
    • Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines 
    • Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames 
    • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers 
    • Other duties as needed

    Requirements: 

    • High school diploma or GED 
    • Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or a combination of training and experience 
    • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics 
    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required 
    • Must have excellent people skills and always represent the Company in a positive manner 
    • Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to work independently 
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision 
    • Ability to stand, bend, and drive for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights of more than 6 ft.
