One year of service as a Facility Operations Assistant 1 or Motor Vehicle Operator; OR, two years of full-time, verifiable experience in custodial, grounds, or maintenance operation or assisting in a journey-level trade.
When required to operate motor vehicles, incumbents must possess a valid New York State driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated.
SUNY Geneseo is looking for a new team member to join the department of Facilities Services. In this role, you will supervise and oversee all ordering and inventory control required for Central Stores & Receiving. You will receive, inspect, store, and distribute goods, materials, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role helps ensure we have accurate supplies for projects & repairs across campus. In this role, you’ll also maintain warehouse equipment and take care of building repairs in the area.
