Farm Equipment Mechanic inspects, maintains, repairs, assembles and overhauls farm machinery, equipment, and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, pumps, tilling equipment, trucks, and other mechanized equipment. Applies mastery of skills in area of specialization. Being a Farm Equipment Mechanic requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Works under general supervision. Additionally, Farm Equipment Mechanic relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals. Pay
Starting wage is $20.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience, plus overtime pay

Hours
Hours M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Rotating weekends as needed. Hours may change depending on the season and work load.
Responsibilities
- As a Service Technician you will be required to perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and pre-delivery on agricultural and some small construction equipment along with Precision Farming hardware and software products.
- Provide customers with excellent customer service and respect
- Fabrication of components when needed to complete repairs
- Loading and unloading of equipement as well as pick up and delievery of equipment as needed.
- Being a Service Technician entails staying up to date with training, and showing focus and attention to detail
- Complete accurate, detailed, and timely documentation
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program preferred
- Have your own tools, or the ability to obtain them
- Are mechanically skilled, Customer-focused, self-driven, and an independent problem-solver who can work in a fast paced environment
- Can use computer programs and software to complete your work.
