Responsibilites

• Load/unload freight from company vehicles, manage freight paperwork, perform dock checks, and maintain organziation of freight on the dock.
• Ensure all work is performed according to company approved procedures, standards and specifications.
• Supervise dock team to maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Train new employees in job duties.
• Keep record of events that occur on the shift regarding freight and personnel to report to Operations Manager.
• Provide a clean, safe environment for all personnel and visiting customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience dock supervisor
• Forklift experience and certification required.
• 2 years dock work at a trucking company preferred.
• High School GED.
