Field Auditor, Sr. travels to assigned vendor sites in order to audit inventory levels and policy compliance. Reviews store security and cash handling procedures and loss prevention data to ensure compliance to policy and identify any issues. Being a Field Auditor, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Field Auditor, Sr. gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. An applicant who is either:
(1) qualified (or soon will be qualified) to sit and is committed to studying for and passing the CPA exam,
OR
(2) has passed the CPA exam or parts of the exam.
AND
Has a minimum GPA of 3.25 from an accredited university or college in a field relevant to this position.
Required Documents
In addition to completing and submitting the Workplace Alaska application, a cover letter and transcripts are all required to be submitted as part of this application package. The cover letter should describe your strengths, education, and experience. Your cover letter must also describe your plan to study for and pass the CPA exam.
Education and CPA Exam Eligibility
It's a requirement of this position that applicants meet (or will soon meet) the eligibility requirement in Alaska to take the CPA exam. Please refer to the Alaska Board of Public Accountancy website to review the current statutes and regulations regarding CPA exam qualification criteria.
Special Instructions For Foreign Education
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above requirements, if applicable. If utilizing this education you must show that the education credentials have been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and that such education has been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs; or an accredited U.S. state university reports the other institution as one whose transcript is given full value, or full value is given in subject areas applicable to the curricula at the state university. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

Applicants are required to meet the minimum qualifications as outlined above.
